TAFELMUSIK, May 7 to 11
Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir is presenting Mozart's Requiem through Sunday, May 11 at Trinity-St. Paul Centre, 427 Bloor St. W.
Directed by Ivars Taurins, it features Shannon Mercer, soprano; Margaret Bragle, mezzo-soprano; Colin Ainsworth, tenor; and Nathaniel Watson, baritone.

SPRING SHOWCASE, May 21 to 24
Spring Showcase 2008, presented by Canada's National Ballet School, runs May 21 to 24 at Betty Oliphant Theatre, 404 Jarvis St. (at Wellesley Street).
The curtain will rise on Spring Showcase 2008 with the highly anticipated return of two of the ballet school's cornerstone works, George Balanchine's Serenade and John Neumeier's Yondering. Also featured are the school's premieres of Yang and Rocket Girl by acclaimed modern dance choreographer and its artist-in-residence Peggy Baker.
Presented each year since the school's inception in 1959, Spring Showcase is used both as a performance vehicle for students and a way for the school to celebrate dance with the community.
Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children, youth and seniors.
