Here's your chance to lie about your age to win
DefineYourself.ca, a website and community dedicated to women and their feelings about aging, launched a nationwide contest, the Best Lie About Your Age, which runs until Aug. 22.
Inspired by a recent story in the British press about talk show host who admitted to keeping quiet when the media dropped a year from her real age, DefineYourself.ca wants Canadians to share their great lie stories.
"It's a known fact that women lie about their age but nobody wants to admit it until they get caught," said Catharine Fennell, creative director for DefineYourself.ca and managing partner in SwingThink Inc., the agency behind the Define Yourself campaign. "We think this contest is a great way to open up dialogue about why women lie and share some great stories."
The contest is open to all Canadian men and women and will be judged based on the craftiest and most outrageous story. The judging panel consists of women from DefineYourself.ca's previous season casts and anti-aging experts. Visit www.defineyourself.ca to enter.
DefineYourself.ca is dedicated to boomer women, exclusively covering the subject of aging.
